This year, we welcome Lynn Macrone (BS '81)

Lynn Macrone is an entrepreneur and alumna of Stony Brook University, Geosciences.  During her college course work, she developed an analytical mindset and a deep appreciation for storytelling through data and discovery. Since then, Lynn’s professional trajectory has led to unimaginable twists and turns. Her Bachelor of Science degree took her to science publishing, and then into the life-changing world of pharma advertising.

After honing the craft of science and promotional writing, Lynn founded a creative advertising and marketing agency called JUICE Pharma Worldwide. For nearly 25 years, her agency developed innovative branding, advertising, and marketing strategies for a diverse range of clients, providing communications to healthcare professionals, patients, and families around the world.

Her agency had the honor of launching some of the most groundbreaking discoveries in medicine—from first-of-their-kind vaccines to treatments for rare diseases and cancer, all in the service of helping people live better lives.  Lynn continues to explore new opportunities to consult and mentor and is developing a music and arts center for young adults and children on Long Island. She spends time with her family between New York and Arizona, where she is immersed every day in the power and beauty of the geologic forces that shape our world.
