Klaar De Schepper started Flux Tailor in 2017 to support data providers, utilities, software developers, and governments as they implement information management solutions that reduce cost and GHG emissions. As an expert in utility data exchange, Klaar has worked on R&D and software implementation projects with major utilities, governmental organizations, industry coalitions, and software companies across the U.S. and beyond to enable the presentation of utility data to end users and promote action.
As a “data access evangelist,” Klaar has published industry briefs and white papers
to highlight best practices for usability and data privacy. She contributes to standards
development for secure and user friendly data exchange. Originally from The Netherlands,
Klaar holds a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Science and Sustainable Development
from Columbia University. During her studies there she discovered her passion for
Information Management and performed research for IBM Research and the Columbia University
Libraries.
