Timra Tomengo awarded 2020 Richard B. Moore Scholarship

Timra Tomengo (Studio Art magna cum laude) was awarded the 2020 Richard B. Moore Scholarship. This scholarship is given to outstanding students of African heritage at Stony Brook University, State University of New York, in recognition of strong academic performance and service to the University community. The Richard B. Moore Scholarship has been established by the Stony Brook Foundation in recognition of Richard B. Moore, who was born in Barbados, became a resident in the United States in 1908, and was a social reformer in Harlem for more than 60 years.
