Professors Tackle Zoom University
How did you feel when the university closed down and you had to move your courses
to remote teaching in the middle of your semester? How professors and students adapted
to the abrupt changes due to COVID-19. They learned to do it all online through Zoom,
Blackboard, and other platforms. While some professors’ transition to online was smooth
and easy, others had a more difficult time; many had to take workshops on how to use
certain platforms to teach. The Art Department’s own Lorena Salcedo-Watson was one
of three instructors to share their experience:
“I was making like my own little cooking show, it was a lot of work. It was nuts.”
