PhD Candidate Elise Armani Appointed 2023-24 Met Fellow

Elise Armani (Ph.D. candidate in Art History and Criticism) has been appointed as the 2023-2024 Diana A. and Harry A. Stern Fellow in the Modern and Contemporary Art department at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. As a junior research fellow, Elise will be in residence at the museum for the next year completing her dissertation, which examines transnational networks of immigrant and diasporic artists on the Lower East Side of Manhattan in the 1970s and 1980s.
