Dr. Ronald Aman

Dr. Ron Aman is the metal additive manufacturing thrust leader in the AMPrint CAT and has more than 10 years of experience with various aspects of 3D Printing and Additive Manufacturing processes including direct-metal additive manufacturing processes (DMLS and EBM), automatic finishing of parts produced using these methods, and hybrid manufacturing. His research thrust since joining RIT is in hybrid additive and subtractive metal manufacturing processes, including process planning, materials processing, functional composition grading, and process mapping of single and multi-material systems. Dr. Aman's research has been published in multiple journals and presented at numerous conferences including Solid Freeform Fabrication, MS&T, RAPID, ISERC, AMPM, and others.
