About Us

The Advanced Energy Center (AERTC) is located in the Research & Development Park at Stony Brook University.  It is a hub for advanced energy solutions that connect research, industry, and government.  Our mission is to improve the efficiency of current energy systems, promote renewable and alternative energy sources, accelerate commercialization of promising technologies, and provide workforce training and industry engagement opportunities.
