Fall 2026 Rates
The Stony Brook University College of Business MBA programs are built for flexibility: students can complete their degree fully online or in a hybrid format, with pacing options for full-time or part-time study. Tuition is billed per credit and varies based on the format you choose and your New York State residency. Hybrid students pay the standard resident or non-resident graduate rate, while students enrolled exclusively in the online MBA qualify for a reduced non-resident rate established by SUNY. New York State residents pay the same per-credit rate in either format. Full-time status is 9 or more credits per semester, and part-time status is up to 6 credits per semester; students enrolled in 12 or more credits in a semester are billed at the flat rate shown below rather than per-credit. Tuition rates are set by the State University of New York (SUNY) Board of Trustees and are subject to change. Mandatory fees and health insurance are billed separately and are not included below. Non-resident students enrolled exclusively in an approved online MBA program—with no intention of learning on campus and no permanent or local presence in NYS—pay a reduced online out-of-state rate, capped at 1.2× the NYS resident rate; non-residents studying on campus or remotely with on-campus intent are billed the standard non-resident rate instead.
