About the Stony Brook Camp of Ques
The Stony Brook Camp of Ques is an affinity group composed of Stony Brook University
alumni and dedicated faculty members affiliated with Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
Our roots extend back to the earliest Omega men at Stony Brook who shaped student
leadership, academic excellence and community advocacy across campus. Today, the Camp
of Ques continues this proud legacy as an alumni-driven collective focused on mentorship,
service, scholarship and civic responsibility. Since 1911, the fraternity has exhibited
the cardinal principles of manhood, scholarship, perseverance and uplift and is guided
by the motto, “Friendship is essential to the soul.”
Although our members honor their fraternal heritage, the Stony Brook Camp of Ques
is not a fraternity chapter. Instead, it is an inclusive alumni community committed
to advancing Stony Brook University’s mission by fostering service, leadership, equity
and community uplift. We work to strengthen connections among alumni, faculty, students
and the surrounding region through purposeful engagement and collaborative initiatives
that support the university’s values and priorities.
Our efforts reflect both the mandated program areas rooted in our history of service
and Stony Brook’s institutional themes of public good, civic involvement and transformative
impact.
