Important Update
New Student Check-in and Orientation: Required for all F-1 and J-1 Students with an Initial or Transfer I-20/DS-2019
All F-1 and J-1 students beginning a new program at Stony Brook, transferring from another U.S. institution, or entering the United States with an initial I-20 or DS-2019, including students returning from a leave of absence, are required to complete the International Student Check-in process.
Because the process differs for F-1 and J-1 students, please review the appropriate instructions carefully before completing your check-in requirements.
