On SEFA's website, the Division Code is another name for your Agency Code. Here are the codes for our campus:

  • 28050: WEST CAMPUS, HSC, SOM AND LISVH STATE EMPLOYEES
  • 28058: STONY BROOK - HOSPITAL EMPLOYEES
  • RESEARCH EMPLOYEES: RESEARCH FOUNDATION (RF)

EarthShare is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity. They have taken the place of United Way for our SEFA Campaign, providing the administrative support needed to process our donations and deliver them to our chosen SEFA charity. Click here to find out more about EarthShare.

No, all of the same charities that have been available over the years will still be available under EarthShare provided the charity recertifies. 

15% of all donations pays for this service.

Charities have to Recertify every year to ensure that they still meet all the requirements to continue participation. The recertification period is from April 1 through November 30. 

They can Apply to Join! The application period is from December 1 through January 15.
