Safer Streets for Campus and Community

Stony Brook University is creating a Comprehensive Safety Action Plan to make walking, biking, and driving safer for everyone who travels on campus and throughout the surrounding community.

Every day, thousands of students, employees, visitors and neighbors travel to, from and throughout Stony Brook University. Whether walking, biking, taking transit or driving, every trip should be safe.

Through a federal Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) grant, Stony Brook is developing a Safety Action Plan to identify ways to reduce serious crashes on campus and surrounding roads.

Your experience will help shape the plan. Share what you see and experience as you travel around campus and the surrounding community.

We Want to Hear From You!

Our public input tool lets you drop a pin on any intersection, crosswalk, or stretch of road and tell us what you experience there. It takes two minutes and helps shape the plan.
