Best Practices for Machine Use
- Don't overload. Overstuffed machines wash poorly and wear out faster.
- Use the right amount of detergent. Too much causes residue buildup and breakdowns — check the machine's guide. Do not place laundry pods in soap tray.
- Leave front-load washer door open after use.
- Clear the lint trap before every dryer cycle to prevent overheating and fire risk.
- Remove clothing from machines promptly so others can use the machine.
- See an issue? Report it! Don't force a stuck door or dial. Reporting keeps machines running for the whole floor.
