This resource is frequently updated and can provide immediate answers about processes, policies, and troubleshooting. Consulting the FAQ is often the fastest way to find the information you need.
Below are some of our most commonly asked questions about our Resource and Recreation Centers (RRCs). Please note this list is not exhaustive.
There are two (2) Resource and Recreation Centers (RRCs) located on campus in the
following residence halls:
- Langmuir Hall, Room C010 (Ground floor)
- Keller Hall, former mail room (Accessible via external entrance across from Circle Road)
No. The RRCs are open during both the fall and spring semesters, and we encourage RAs to take advantage of this resource throughout the academic
year. Please note that the RRCs are closed during winter and summer breaks.
By utilizing the equipment rental form, you can request equipment. The staff will
inform you if your request has been approved or if there is a conflict with your request.
You can pick up the equipment 48 hours before your event date. You must return the
equipment no later than 48 hours after the event date. Additionally, ensure that the
equipment is returned cleaned and not broken. Please inform the staff of any issues
with the equipment before returning the item.
Please note that most equipment is housed in Keller unless stated otherwise. If you
wish your equipment to be at the Langmuir, please reach out to the staff and provide
a 48-hour minimum notice.
Yes, RAs may visit either RRC during published office hours when an office assistant is present. Outside of these hours, RAs must be accompanied
by their Residence Hall Director, Assistant Coordinator, or another professional staff member.
While there is no strict limit, we ask that RAs be mindful and considerate when using or taking paper supplies. Take what you need, avoid waste, and recycle
whenever possible. Let’s work together to ensure everyone has access to the resources
they need.
Yes. Please follow these basic guidelines:
- Clean up after yourself – brooms, dustpans, and trash cans are provided.
- Treat the space and equipment with respect.
- Any damage to equipment or failure to return items may result in loss of access to the RRC.
