Seawolves' Financial Gameplan

Follow the plan. Build the skills. Prepare for what's next.

Seawolves’ Financial Gameplan at Stony Brook University is a financial wellness initiative designed to help students build strong, practical money skills that support academic success and financial decision-making beyond college.

Through interactive workshops and activities, the program focuses on core areas of financial wellness, including budgeting, building emergency funds, developing credit confidence, and strengthening a money mindset. Students can explore their financial habits, choose workshops that align with their needs, and take steps toward healthier financial decision-making.

Those who complete all four workshops by graduation will earn a Financial Wellness graduation cord, recognizing their commitment to financial literacy and long-term financial well-being.

Seawolves’ Financial Gameplan is offered through the Career Center as part of Stony Brook University’s commitment to student success and equitable access to financial education.
