Power has been restored at the Southampton campus and is stable. Operations have returned to normal.

 

7/5/2026

Classes, events and other campus activities are canceled for the Stony Brook Southampton campus on Monday 7/6/2026 due to an ongoing power outage. Crews continue to work around the clock to restore power. We expect power to be restored sometime on Monday 7/6/2026. We will continue to provide information as it becomes available.

  2. Click SB Alert - Registration

  3. Click SB Alert - Contact Information

  4. The initial Electronic Post Office (EPO) address will be your Stony Brook email. You can enter two alternate email addresses. Messages will be sent to all specified email addresses.

  5. Enter up to three preferred phone numbers for voice dialing; ensure the phone numbers entered are not shared office numbers.

  6. Enter up to three mobile phone numbers. Both voice and text messages will be sent to all mobile devices listed.
