New This Week at SBU Eats

September 6, 2026

Hi Seawolves,

Your next favorite meal is waiting for you this week at SBU Eats! Vote for the meals you want to see on the menu, try new flavors, connect with our chefs, and join fun wellness events. Plus, find out about sustainable dining options, special meals, and how to make the most of your meal plan. Here’s what’s happening at SBU Eats!

Starting Voting for Your Favorite Meals

SBU Eats is launching an interactive “Student Select” campaign that puts menu choices in students’ hands. Each week, you can vote in a poll for your favorite menu items, helping determine which options will be featured at dine-in locations.

Bamboo Cutlery for Takeout: A More Sustainable Alternative

Takeout at dine-in just got better and more sustainable! SBU Eats uses bamboo cutlery as a more sustainable alternative to traditional plastic utensils. Bamboo is a rapidly renewable resource that grows quickly, helping reduce reliance on petroleum-based plastics. Choosing bamboo supports our ongoing efforts to incorporate more sustainable products into campus dining.
