- Former Captain in the United States Air Force JAG Corps.
- Iraq campaign veteran, where he served as the legal liaison between the Iraqi judiciary and U.S. Special Forces in Baghdad, Iraq.
- Received multiple awards including the Joint Service Commendation Medal and the Iraq Campaign Medal for his service.
- Worked at BAE Systems on Long Island where he led a team responsible for the procurement of some of today's most cutting-edge military-grade tactical technology.
- Currently works at Brookhaven National Laboratory where he practices government contract law and works closely with fellow veterans.
