- Volunteered at “Cut Red Tape 4 Heroes” to help bring personal protective equipment to hospital workers and those at risk during the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Secured the Maximizing Investigators’ Research Award for Early Stage Investigators Grant from the National Institutes of Health, which will support the Parasram Lab with $1.9 million over 5 years.
- Recipient of numerous awards including: 2024 Amgen Young Investigator Award, 2023 NYU Golden Dozen Teaching Award, 2023 Recipient of the NYU Teaching Innovation Award, 2023 Thieme Journal Award and the 2022 Doctoral New Investigator Award by the American Chemical Society.
