- Worked with the Kiwanis Pediatric Trauma Center Foundation’s Board and has secured thousands of dollars to benefit the Stony Brook Children’s Hospital
- Earned the American Trauma Society New York Division’s Injury Prevention Professional of the Year Award, and helped the Stony Brook Trauma Center earn the prestigious Safe States Injury and Violence Prevention Program of the Year Award
