January 19: First day to order regalia for campus pickup (no extra fee) or home delivery ($17.95 shipping fee).
March 6: Last day to order regalia and ship to Stony Brook for campus pickup (no extra fee). Regalia Details.
April 15: Last day for candidates to apply for graduation if they want their name to appear in the digital Commencement Publication.
April 22: First day for students who ordered regalia early to pick it up at the SBU Campus Store.
April 27: Last day to order regalia for home delivery ($17.95 shipping fee).
April 28: First day to pick up tickets from the University's ticket portal. Ticketing details.
May 8: Last day for Spring/Summer degree candidates to apply for graduation through SOLAR.
May 12: Last day to RSVP to request tickets for SPD's Commencement Convocation.
May 12: Last day to retrieve Convocation tickets from the Ticket Portal.
May 15: Last day to pick up regalia at the SBU Campus Store.
May 18: SPD Commencement Convocation. The ceremony takes place at 5 pm in the Stony Brook Arena with a reception to follow at the Wang Center. Check-in begins at 4 pm. All candidates should report no later than 4:30.
May 22: University Commencement.
