Matthew Vohlidka is a Communications Manager at Stony Brook University, where he develops communications strategies, digital content, visual communications, and creative materials supporting university-wide initiatives. He also serves as an Adjunct Lecturer in the School of Communication and Journalism, bringing his professional experience in media, design, and communications into the classroom.

Vohlidka has more than 20 years of experience in motion design, art direction, broadcast, advertising, and digital media. His career includes creative roles with FOX, Comedy Central, Viacom, and Paramount, where he developed broadcast graphics, branding, promotional campaigns, animation, and digital content for nationally recognized media brands.

Through his company, MV Motion Design, Vohlidka continues to work as a creative professional, producing motion graphics and visual content for broadcast and live-event productions, including projects supporting the NFL, NBA, and Prime Monday Night Hockey.

His teaching and professional interests include visual communication, creative technology, artificial intelligence, media, branding, and the evolving role of technology in communication and storytelling.
