
Biography:
I got Ph.D. at Rice University in 2021 with a thesis topic on searching for new bosons
using muons at the CMS experiment at CERN LHC. I was also involved in CMS endcap muon
triggers. After joining NN group, I spent significant time at DUNE R&D. I am heavily
involved in the photon detection system (PDS) for the DUNE far detector modules. I
am developing the PDS cold readout at Fermilab and coordinating cold box runs at CERN.
I also lead the final PDS production at Stony Brook. One of my physics interests is
the DUNE-PRISM program where the LAr and TMS near detectors will both move off-axis
to sample neutrino fluxes at different energies. I am developing an analysis to utilize
this data to predict neutrinos at the far detector and extract the oscillation parameters
with minimum dependence on models. I am also working on a joint fit of samples collected
from the beam (T2K) and atmospheric experiments (Super-K) exploiting the fact that
the T2K far detector is the same as Super-K. The correlation of detector and interaction
systematics at similar energy regions brings improved sensitivities to mass ordering
and cp violation effects. I joined the group in 2021.
