Biography:
Jennifer Cano joined the faculty at Stony Brook in 2018. Prior to that, she was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Princeton Center for Theoretical Science from 2015-2018. She received her PhD in 2015 from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Jennifer received an NSF Career award in 2019 and a Sloan Fellowship in 2022.

Research Statement:
Jennifer Cano's research group focuses on the classification, prediction, and discovery of topological phases of matter.
