ANDY H. WEI @ D AR L A | Andy H. Wei accidentally spent years living in Qingdao, when a visit to celebrate Chinese New Year in January 2020 turned into the mandatory quarantine in the international port city. An impromptu studio set up in his father’s tearoom solarium reflects feelings of being both existentially apart from home, yet closer to origins on the Yellow Sea coast.
