Research Summary:
Dianna Padilla's major interests are (1) phenotypic plasticity, its relationship to morphology, and its significance in ecology and evolution; (2) functional ecology of invertebrates across life stages, especially in response to changing environments, (3) the patterns of spread and impacts of invading species in aquatic ecosystems, and (4) increasing biological function of urban shorelines.
