Meet our PhD Students
The Department of Technology, AI and Society is dedicated to excellence in research
advancing knowledge in technology and science policy, design/planning research in
intersecting-socio-technological areas of responsible and societal artificial intelligence
(AI); energy and environmental systems; and engineering & technology workforce policy

TSM Connect 2026
Over 40 students in the Technological Systems Management (TSM) major gathered in the CEAS Undergraduate Students Office on September 10 for TSM Connects: Bridging Students, Faculty, and Careers. This was an opportunity for students to network with Department of Technology, AI and Society faculty to ask questions and make new connections. Nicholas Amador and Yoon Yu Yu Ya joined the Career Center to talk through students' career "worries" and brainstorm solutions. A success, students found this event to be insightful, helpful, and a wonderful opportunity to practice networking while building bridges within the SBU community.
