Congratulations to the class of 2024!

I am looking forward to welcoming you and your families to our Chemistry Department’s 54th Convocation. This year, we will have a reception at the Zodiac Lobby in the Wang Center at 7:30 am, followed by the cermony at 8:45 am in the Staller Center, on the Main Stage.  You have faced challenges during your journey but you have succeeded, and we wish you all the best for the next phase of your lives and careers!

Congratulations Department of Chemistry Class of 2024 and to the parents, partners, siblings, and friends who supported them. Thank you for joining us to honor our students and be a part of this special celebration. 

We are, celebrating your journey and looking forward to your next chosen path, while certainly never forgetting your last year at Stony Brook University.

I applaud each of you! Our courageous, tenacious and dedicated students who made it to the finish line, eager to complete this phase of your education and achieve your dreams. Our next wave of leaders.
