Bio
Emre Ulusoy is an Associate Professor of Practice in Marketing at Stony Brook University, where he currently teaches courses in Consumer Behavior and Marketing Research. His work focuses on the socio-cultural, philosophical, and technological dimensions of consumption, marketing, and markets. His research explores topics such as subcultures, music consumption, consumer resistance, market co-optation, fragmentation, identity, poststructuralism, ethical consumption, sustainability, emerging food technologies, alternative food practices, and veganism. His scholarship has appeared in leading journals including the Journal of Business Research, Journal of Consumer Culture, Marketing Theory, Journal of Macromarketing, Consumption, Markets & Culture, and the Journal of Marketing Management.
