Bio
Colleen McKean worked for USA TODAY from 1991 to 2008 where she served as Regional
Marketing Director from 2000 to 2008. As part of USA TODAY’s educational initiative,
Colleen collaborated with New York City Schools on the creation of a newspaper based
career exploration program called “Dream Job”. In addition to program development,
she provided educator professional development training for program implementation.
Colleen currently teaches Project Management, Human Resources, and Business Communications
at the College of Business at Stony Brook University. She also is the Co-Coordinator
of Student Internships. Colleen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications
from Molloy College and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in
Management from Long Island University at CW Post.
