TEACHER OPPORTUNITY CORPS

This program, funded annually by a NYS Department of Education grant, works with the Brentwood, Longwood, Patchogue-Medford and Wyandanch School Districts to encourage under-represented students and those from low-income families to enter the teaching profession and assists students who are interested in teaching in schools that contain measurable numbers of low-income and “at-risk” students to become teachers.
