**Important Reminders**

  • Check your “To Do List Items” on SOLAR
  • Remember to review and Accept/Decline your financial aid for the 2008-2009 aid year.
  • New York State Residents :  Check your TAP award status on www.hesc.com
  • If you are an Undergraduate NY State Resident, and enrolled for between 6 and 11 credits you may be eligible to apply for Aid for Part Time Study (APTS).  Please contact our office or check our website for details.
  • September 5th: Fall 2008 semester aid (except TAP and other NY State awards) begins to be disbursed upon successful clearance. This includes Federal and Private loans, Pell and SEOG.
  • Mid-September: Last day for Juniors (57 credits or more) to declare a primary major to satisfy New York State TAP requirements.  To declare a primary major, download the Major/Minor Declaration form and return it to the Registrar’s Office.  For the specific deadline date please refer to the Registrar's Office.
  • September 23rd:  Fall 2008 semester aid (except TAP and other NY State Awards) begins to be disbursed upon successful clearance.  This includes University Scholarships and Federal ACG and SMART grants.
  • October 6th:  Disbursement of fall 2008 TAP and other New York State awards begin to be disbursed upon receipt of successful certification from the Registrar’s Office (100% tuition liability).
