**Important Reminders*

  • If you have any questions or concerns related to student or parent education loans please visit our office to speak with a financial aid advisor.

  • Check your “To Do List Items” on SOLAR.

  • Remember to review and Accept/Decline your financial aid for the 2008-2009 aid year.

  • New York State Residents : Check your TAP award status on www.hesc.org.

  • If you are an Undergraduate NY State Resident, and enrolled for between 6 and 11 credits you may be eligible to apply for Aid for Part Time Study (APTS). Please contact our office or check our website for details.

  • Dec. 15th: Spring 2009 semester award packaging and notification begins for newly admitted spring 2008 students with a valid FAFSA on file.

  • Dec. 15th: Students not returning for the spring 2009 semester: Last day to accept awards and to submit requested document to financial aid for processing.

  • Jan. 1st: Beginning January 1, 2009 complete the 2009-2010 version of the FAFSA for summer 2009 and the academic year beginning fall 2009 and ending spring 2010. You might find it helpful to download and complete the optional FAFSA on the Web Worksheet prior to applying online.

  • Jan. 5th: Winter Intersession financial aid disbursement begins.

  • Jan. 29th: Spring 2009 semester aid (except TAP and other NY State awards) begins to be disbursed upon successful clearance. This aid includes Federal and Private loans, Pell and SEOG.
