Important Dates

September 14: Deadline for candidates to apply for graduation.

October 14: Ceremony Attendance Form Link is now available on the SOLAR System to candidates that applied to graduate. This form must be completed in order to obtain tickets to the Main Ceremony. Contact the Office of Conferences and Special Events (631-632-6320) if you have difficulty completing the form.

November 06: Applying for graduation after this date will not guarantee that your name will appear in the printed commencement program.

December 1: Discounted retainable caps, gowns, and hoods will be available for undergraduate and master candidates to purchase at the University Bookstore. Selections will become more limited as Commencement Day approaches.

December 4: Last day Ceremony Attendance Form Link will be available on the SOLAR System. All candidates planning to attend the ceremony must submit this form to receive tickets.

December 5: Last day the University Bookstore will offer discounted prices to under undergraduate and master candidates for retainable cap, gown and hood.

December 15: Ticket distribution 11:30 am to 7:00 pm at the Charles B. Wang Center, Suite 302.

December 16: Ticket distribution 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Charles B. Wang center, Suite 302.

December 17: Ticket distribution of unclaimed tickets at 4:00 pm in the Charles B. Wang Center, Suite 302.

December 22: Graduation assembly at 12:00 pm (noon) Pritchard Gym. March begins promptly at 12:45 pm; Ceremony begins at 1:00 pm.
