December Commencement

Congratulations to the members of the Class of 2010 on your graduation from Stony Brook University. This site has been set up to provide information related to attending the University's December Graduation Ceremony on December 22, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. The Ceremony will confer bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees for Summer 2009 and Fall 2009/Winter 2010 Graduates.

Ceremony for all candidates
December 22, 2009 @ 1:00 p.m. – Main Arena, Sports Complex

Assembly for all candidates
December 22, 2009 @ 12 Noon - Pritchard Gym


Each candidate will be presented to the President and Provost by name.

Requirements
Undergraduate candidates must complete both University and major requirements by the preceding Summer or Fall semester to participate in the ceremony.


IMPORTANT: All candidates must complete and submit the Ceremony Attendance Form on the Solar System. This form must be completed no later than December 4, 2009 in order to be eligible for tickets to the ceremony. Upon completion of the Ceremony Attendance Form on the Solar System, you will receive a confirmation that will let you know when and where you can pick up tickets. Please be sure to print out this confirmation.

The last date to apply for graduation to ensure your name is in the printed program is 11/6/09

Academic attire will be available in the bookstore 11/16/09

The Ceremony Attendance Form will be available on SOLAR 10/14/09 TO 12/4/09
